I hooked up my VSCDR3 and it is not recognized, why?

In order to use the VSCDR3 burner with a VS-Series recorder,
you need to be running the latest version software
for that particular VS recorder unit. IF you are not, when
you hook up the VSCDR3, it will not be recognized. You can download the OS updates at Roland's website. rolandus.com
