Q:
Cannot recognize a blank disc (the CD Recorder ejects the CD caddy, or MasterList CD posts a "no disc in drive" error).

A:
- CD-R extension (e.g. Read CD extension installed by Toast) is loaded. Remove all CD-R extensions.- CD is not blank.- Disc Caddy is bad (this happened in house with a Yamaha CDE-100).- CD is not the correct media type. CD media is differentiated by a code which is read by the CD recorder: 00 General Purpose, e.g. Kodak Info Guard Writable CDs. 01 Portfolio - combination of imaging and audio (requires license). 02 Photo CD - used for imaging (requires license to use).Only the general purpose media may be used by MasterList CD. The CD recorder will check which media is being used, if it is not the correct type, errors will occur.
