This usually happens after recording in from a digital source and not switching back to Internal Sync. The Audio Card/Interface is still relying on the digital source to drive the system, and DAT clocks can vary if the transport is not actually running.- After recording in from a digital source, set the Sync Mode back to Internal.If the pitch is still wrong after switching back to Internal Sync, then it's likely that the sample rates did not match (e.g. DAT is 48k & Audio Interface is 44.1k) during one of the transfers.- Verify that the sample rate of the DAT matches the sample rate of the Audio Card/Interface.- If there is a Video or Smpte Slave Driver connected to the Audio Interface, make sure its sample rate matches or just turn it off so the Audio Interface switches from Slave back to Internal.
