1) AppleTalk should be Inactive in the Chooser.2) Bad or poorly shielded cables. S/PDIF should be 75ohm coaxial and less than10 meters.3) Realtime INIT, Extension, CDev (Screen Saver, Clock, CD ROM driver, etc).4) Sync mode not set correctly (Playback device should be Master /Internal/XMIT, record device should be Slave/External/RCV).
