The Effective Index 0 Gap Length (explained in detail on p. 55-56 of MLCD 2.0 User's Guide) must be at least 1 second when using MLCD 1.2 or earlier. This is a limitation that was intended to prevent problems with overlapping index points. The minimum Effctive Index 0 Gap Length was reduced in MLCD 1.3 to more than zero frames.You have 3 options... 1) Continue. If you get this message, you can still write the CD or create the Image File, but MLCD will not write the Access Offsets to tracks where the Effctive Index 0 Gap Length isn't long enough. This should only be a problem if actual audio begins at the very beginning or ends at the very ending of a MasterList Item.2) Edit the actual track spacing so that the Effective Index Zero Gap is at least 1 second (or 1 frame in MLCD 1.3 or later) and the Access Offsets will be written to the disc.3) If you require an Effective Index Zero Gap of less than one second (or 1 frame in MLCD 1.3 or later), you can compensate for the Begin Access Offset that won't be written by adding approximately 200 ms of silence to the beginning of the track (i.e. Increasing the actual file or region size in Sound Designer, Pro Tools, etc.), and then editing the Index 1 of that track to be earlier in the PQ subcode window without changing the start time for that item in the MasterList window.Similarly, to compensate for the End Access Offset that won't be written, you can edit the Index 0 of the track to begin later by the End Access Offset amount, without altering the end time for the item in the MasterList window. In this case, it's not neccessary to add silence to the end track as in the Begin Access Offset compensation example above. Actually, the End Access Offset is not as crucial as the Begin Access Offset and in many cases can be eliminated if necessary.
