The Bit3 7 Slot PCI Expansion Chassis is a 3rd party PCI Expansion Chassis that lets you use up to 7 PCI cards with any Digi supported PCI CPU.Slot Architecture: 7 PCI slots available with an 8th host slot used for the interface card. Slots 1-3 and 4-7 are available for PCI cards. * Please note that the Bit 3 Chassis host card goes into the host slot between the 3rd and 4th PCI cards. The 4th node of the ribbon cable should be skipped when using the Bit 3 chassis. The last four nodes of the ribbon cable connect to the remaining four cards. Looking at the front of the unit, the slots are labeled left to right: 1, 2, 3, interface card, 4, 5, 6, 7.CPU to Chassis Interface Connections: The Bit3 Chassis comes with two separate interface cards. One card installs in the CPU while the second card installs in the host slot of the chassis.
