Having problems routing Digital information to the Panasonic 3800 via AES.

There is a hidden menu inside the 3800 for selecting digital format/routing options. Hold down counter mode, counter reset, and pause. The 3800 display will indicate the setting:Mode 0 = IEC (default)Mode 1 = AESNext, press the Skip button. It will go through the various output/format combinations. (have DAT machine rolling and PT ready to accept signal to know when this is correct) When the display shows "AES" everything should work correctly.
