Q:
MicroLynx is not recieving timecode from Pro Tools.
A:
In Pro Tools' Session Setup Window, MTC to Port should be checked and MicroLynx should chosen in the pop up menu underneath "MTC to Port" (a device should be created and named in OMS for the Microlynx just like the SSD. Only Sends and Receives MTC should be checked). The Microlynx needs to be configured as well. The correct MIDI input needs to be chosen in the MIDI options window. See page 9-9 of the Microlynx manual "Pro Tools as Master".For timecode coming into the serial port on the Microlynx "MAC Jack" should be chosen. There are a couple of options available here depending on how the system is configured, the Microlynx manual should clear this up.
