ADAT I/O is not working with my Pro Tools 24 system

ADAT I/O is not working with my Pro Tools 24 system.

The ADAT Interface is not supported with an 888|24 I/O Audio Interface.This is because the ADAT Interface passes a 16 bit word clock thru the 888 to the disk I/O. The 888/24 does not support a 16-bit word clock, only 24-bit word clock.
