When doing an automated punch in Pro Tools with Auto Input Monitor enabled and pre- and post-roll enabled, the first 2 seconds of the post-roll is silent (no input or disk track).

This is due to the fact that Pro Tools has to wait until the next zone to resume playback.If faster switching is required, QuickPunch can be used (keep in mind that QP requires a free voice for every track being recorded).
