Pro Tools 4.3 now supports the USD on the digiSerial port, but the USD Setup application won't recognize it, or it crashes on launch.
A:
Support for the USD is built into the Pro Tools application. The USD Setup application does not currently have this support. Most of the settings on the USD can be controlled from within the Pro Tools software or on the front panel of the USD. If there are parameters on the USD (like Window Burn enable/disable) that need to be controlled from the computer, then run the USD on a Mac serial port, and use the digiSerial port for Machine Control.
