This can happen if the user logged on does not have Administrator rights. You need Administrator rights in order to run Pro Tools software. To check the access rights, do the following:- log on as Administrator- go to StartMenu/Programs/Administrative Tools/User Manager- double-click the user name in question- click on the Groups button (lower left corner)- make sure "Administrators" is listed in the left window- okay this dialog and quit- log off and back on under the user name - you should be fine!
