What is the DSP manager?

The DSP manager was first released with the Pro Tools|24 MIX system (Pro Tools 4.3).The DSP manager optimizes DSP assignment and usage with TDM Plug-Ins and the TDM mixer on MIX systems. The DSP Manager also prevents MIX system users from having to manage the different Plug-In DSP RAM type configurations as they begin to use up available DSP. Furthermore, the DSP Manager ensures that all available DSP power is used as efficiently as possible.
