Why can't I hear audio files/regions out of the 888|24 while clicking the play button in the "import Audio Dialog"?

Audio preview plays out ch1/2 of the first Interface.Verify that the 888/24 is the master I/O and says "internal" on the front panel. If the 888/24 is slaved to an ADAT Bridge, audio must be routed through Ch. 1/2 analog OUT of the ADAT Bridge.
