"Pro Tools could not be launched because the application Pro Tools LE could not be found" when application is launched from its original icon (not an alias).

Has been solved by reinstalling the Pro Tools LE application from the installer CD-ROM.Error has also been seen in cases of a failing HD. Running a disk utility like Norton usually finds problems with the drive.
