Q:
Some files are mono and some are stereo while playing back in MLCD. For example, why do files named "applause.L" and "applause.R" play in stereo, but files named "music/04.L" and "music/04.R" play back in mono?

A:
Apps like MLCD, SDII, and Peak rely on the fact that the 2 mono file names must be the same, with ".L" and ".R" at the ends (not case sensitive) to play them as a stereo pair.Having an extra ".R" or ".L" in the names can cause a problem (like "Audio.Room.R") as well as having 'illegal' characters in the names, like a "Forward Slash" symbol (e.g. /).Change the file names if needed.
