Pro Tools Memory Locations cannot be recalled from Motor Mix controller.

Even when the Numeric Keypad Mode is correctly set to Classic in the Preferences, sometimes the Pro Tools application thinks it's in Transport mode.Trashing the Pro Tools Preferences file should resolve this.
