Q:
Can I use an earlier OS other than OS 8.6 for Digi 001? What about OS 9?
A:
Pro Tools 5.0 and 5.0.1 were qualified on OS 8.6 and OS 9. Lower operating systems were not tested. We recommend using OS 8.6 or OS 9 because Digidesign can not guarantee performance of the 001 on unsupported operating systems.
