I hear white noise coming from my monitor speakers and headphone jack. What should I do?

Once you've firmly seated and screwed in the 001 card, reconnect and firmly push in the I/O cable at both ends. Go to your System Folder/Preferences and drag your DAE prefs(the whole folder), DigiSetup, and Pro Tools LE 5.0 preferences to the Trash before restarting Pro Tools LE.
