When Active in Background is disabled in Pro Tools, switching in and out of Pro Tools LE cuts off MIDI connections with the Digi 001.
 
A:
To avoid this problem, ensure that the "Run MIDI in Background" option is checked in the OMS MIDI setup dialog box
