When digitizing video at resolutions of 3:1 or lower quality a single drive connected to the ATTO EPCI-DC SCSI card can be used. More drives may be required depending on the size of the video file.When digitizing video at resolutions of 2:1 or 1:1 (uncompressed), an additional ATTO UL2D SCSI accelerator is required (see Digidesign website for current SCSI card compatibility) for video storage. In these configurations a 2-way stripeset across both UL2D SCSI channels is required for 2:1 compression, and a 4-way stripe set across both channels is required for 1:1 (uncompressed) capability.ATTO's Express RAID software can be purchased from www.attotech.com for creating a striped drive set.
