Q:
Virus doesn't automatically show up in Logic's instrument list (EMAGIC)
A:
That is due to incomplete implementation of OMS virtual node support in Logic Audio. In order to make Virus show up in Logic's instrument list, you gotta do the following*Instantiate all Virus plug-ins you want to use.*Open Logic's Preferences window and switch to OMS Output Map Connection 1.*Assign all Virus nodes from the list to the outputs listed in this window. Hit OK.*Open the Environment window and switch to the OMS Objects layer (other layers are OK too).*Create as many new instruments as you have Virus plug-ins used. *Select one instrument and change it's "output" assignment in the information section on the left side of the Environment window. That's the line below the device icon. Don't forget to change the name as well...*Save (good idea at this point) and close Environment window.*You can now start using the Virus.
