Q:
When two or more tracks are selected in Pro Tools, one showing waveform data and other(s) showing automation data and the selected area is deleted, both the waveform and automation data is deleted on all selected tracks.
A:
Surprisingly, this is not a bug. When multiple tracks are selected showing main data (automation or waveform), Pro Tools will edit all data selected across all tracks selected.
