Q:
Why do I get feedback when using talkback in surround mode?
A:
Prior to Pro Tools 5.0.1 the talkback/slate was routed to channels 5 and 6 when in surround mode causing a feedback loop. As of Pro Tools 5.0.1 this has been corrected and talkback/slate is no longer routed through 5 & 6 in the control room.
