What is the best way to use the ADAT bridge with a USD and BRC?
A:
We have seen the best results by plugging the ADAT bridge word out to BRC 48k in (and make sure to set the BRC to external sync and choose 48k in as the sync source). Put Pro Tools in internal sync (not optical). This setup works for either transferring or recording to an adat. Also, this setup allows for your 888/24, 888 or 882 to be the main interface with the ADAT bridge slaved to it.
