I want to create a drum kit with different sounds mapped to different key...

I want to create a drum kit with different sounds mapped to different key ranges (i.e. kicks on the lowest keys, then snares, and so on) that responds to one MIDI channel. I want to have the sounds come out of different outputs (i.e. kick out of output one, snare out of output two, and so on). How can I build such an instrument?

Create a drum kit instrument and then copy it several times within the bank (set each instrument to the same MIDI channel. Next, set the key range of each instrument so that it is drum specific, ie. instrument one responds only to the key range where kick drums are mapped. Finally, set the output of each instrument.
