Can I use ATTO ExpressPro-Tools with SCSI drives connected to the Mac internal/external SCSI bus or with a non-ATTO SCSI accelerator (i.e. Adaptec)?
A:
ATTO ExpressPro-Tools is a SCSI 4.3 compliant application. Therefore, it will recognize and format drives connected to any SCSI bus (exception being a Disk I/O or Pro Tools Project card). When using Adaptec 2940UW and 3940UW cards, make sure you upgrade their firmware to v4.1 (firmware updates available on their website).
