How to transfer a Pro Tools 5.1 session from Windows to a Mac system.

Sessions must be saved to a Mac formatted volume, use Mac Opener 2000 to mount and format Mac volumes on a windows machine.PC to Mac:1. With the session open go to FIle>Save Session Copy In. .2. Save in: Choose a Mac formatted drive formatted with MacFormat (part of Mac Opener) and name the session.3. Session Parameters: Make sure Enforce Mac/PC Compatibility is checked.4. Items to Copy: Check- All Audio Files and hit SaveThe session will be saved and audio files copied to the Mac formatted drive. Mount the drive on the Mac system and open the session. In Pro Tools and Pro Tools LE for Mac 5.1 and higher, Wave, AIFF and Sound Designer II files can be used. So no conversion of file type is required.
