Q:
when I power on reset the ProControl main, 'RESET' is displayed in the channel/group display. On subsequent power on (without power on reset) the RESET is still displayed. After a while it will disappear after powering on.
A:
When "RESET" is displayed at start-up, it indicates that the unit has detected a new version of firmware and is resetting the ProControl prefs stored in non-volatile RAM (FLASH memory). This is the same as RESET from the front panel.After you make a preference change, this will no longer appear at start-up.
