Q:
-6010 error while creating a QuickTime file using Bounce to Disk.
A:
Before creating a QuickTime file using the Bounce to Disk command on Pro Tools LE systems running on Windows 98/ME, make sure that Operations > Active in Background is not selected. Otherwise, the bounce will be temporarily halted by a -6010 error message (Cannot Acquire Hardware); in this case, press OK to close the error dialog and complete the bounce. This is a known issue in Pro Tools 5.1.1 Mac.
