After creating a Pro Tools 5.1 session using WAV 16 bit files, I hear a loud pop (or click) noise at the beginning and end of each region (region boundaries) as the playback cursor moves across them.

This is a known problem in Pro Tools 5.1, when using WAV 16 bit files. However, there is a workaround.Go to the Setups menu > Preferences window > Operation tab. In that window, find the Auto Fade In/Out option, and set the value to 0 (zero) milliseconds. Click OK out of that window, and there will be no more pops at the beginning and ends of regions (region boundaries).This problem is fixed in Pro Tools 5.1.1
