Aborting AVR INIT during launch of Pro Tools/AV option after PCI scan AVR Init. Pro Tools 5.1 or 5.0.1
 
A:
One possible reason is that the settings folder (with contents) is missing from the Video engine folder. This can happen if you install Pro Tools 5.1 and manually move the Video engine folder from the 5.1 CD. You must install the AV/AVXL option software prior to installing the Pro Tools 5.1.
