What does it mean when I get the error "File edit rate does not match project edit rate" error when trying to import an OMF created in DigiTranslator?
 
A:
When converting from Pro Tools to OMF for import into an Avid system, always check the "quantize edits to frame boundaries box." Because Pro Tools systems perform edits on a sample accurate basis, and Avid systems edit on frame boundaries, this option writes additional "pad" files so that regions are placed on frame boundaries when imported into an Avid system.
