Sample Rate Sync. The 442, 882, and 888 Interfaces give you 3 sync options. This determines where the Interface will get its clock, and therefore what speed the audio will play at. In Internal sync, the Audio Interface runs off its internal crystal. In Digital sync, the interface is running off an external clock (from a DAT Machine, for example). In Slave mode, the Interface is running off the crystal in a Video Slave Driver, SMPTE Slave Driver, or another Audio Interface. If you are experiencing pitch problems, verify that you are in the correct sync mode (for example, don't try playing with sync set to digital if the DAT Machine is off), and that the sample rates in all the software and hardware match.
