When launching Pro Tools 4.2 if it displays an error message that some libraries could not be found, you should make sure that all Open Transport Extensions are installed and enabled. Open the extension manager control panel, enable the Mac OS 8.x base set and add DigiSystemINIT and OMS at least, then reboot your computer. In case you are still having problems we suggest reinstalling the Mac OS.
