On a Pro Tools system employing both the Virus Plug-In and one or more external Virus synths, all MIDI track outputs reset themselves to the external Virus synths upon closing and reopening the session.

The external Virus module must be renamed in the OMS Studio Setup document. Use something like "ExtVirus" or "HWVirus".
