- Must be version 3.0 software for the Mackie D8B.Create "MIDI Handshake":Mackie D8B, MIDI OUT > Digi 001, MIDI IN. (Or other MIDI Interface).Mackie D8B, MIDI IN < Digi 001, MIDI OUT.Verify OMS setup:- Create a new OMS setup (OMS v2.3.8)- In Pro Tools: Setups > OMS Studio Setup.- Studio Menu > New Device.- Manufacturer is Mackie, Model is "Other".- Name it Mackie D8B.- Set Mackie D8B to receive channels 1 only and "is controller" is checked- Device ID = 0- Check send/receive MTC, MMC in OMS- Select Mackie D8B as MIDI Input Device in PT LE (MIDI Menu > Input Device > Mackie D8B)In Pro Tools for the D8B to control Pro Tools via MMC:- Setups > Peripherals > Synchronization > Select Enable control of Pro Tools via MMC.- Windows > Show Session Setup > Enable MTC to Port > Port = Digi 001, or other MIDI interface.Notes:- Read "MIDI Mapping" chapter in D8B Manual, p.12.
