This is normal operation for any plug-in on an Auxiliary Track or Record-Enabled-Audio Track. It is a requirement of the Low Latency Monitoring functionality. This being said, it is only applicable to tracks that have inputs which are I/O's. If the input of the track is switched to a Bus rather than I/O, then Low Latency Monitoring will not apply to that track.
