Q:
Can I use the Mbox inserts for outboard gear while I am mixing?
A:
No. The Mbox inserts are places between the input amps and the A/D converters, and may only be used for signals as they are being recorded. The option to use hardware inserts on Pro Tools tracks has been disabled due to the bandwidth limitations of USB.
