Q:
Momentary graphics freeze after hitting play with Pro Tools 5.1.3 online with a VTR and in "Transport = Machine" mode.
 
A:
This only occurs when using LTC for positional reference. If there is a USD connected to the system and both USD and VTR are locked to black burst, check the "use serial timecode for positional reference" box in Peripherals - Machine Control and this will not occur.
