MP3 Option is creating a longer mp3 file than it should be. If my file is 10 seconds, the btd mp3 is 12.3 seconds and the extra 2.3 sec are from the last section of the bounce to disk (i.e 7.7sec to 10sec.).

Check the version of QuickTime. QT 4.1.2 and 5.0 should work; QT 5.01 and 5.02 are prone to this behavior. see internal comments.
