-6046 Pro Tools 5.1.1 for Win2K will not play or record. All cards pass Digitest and the system is configured correctly.

Bad interface. The master interface, 888/24, 1622, ADAT bridgeis malfunctioning. The interface shows no outward sign that it is not working. Swapping out the interface resolves the -6046.Possible bad TDM ribbon cable.
