Q:
When I change a plug-in parameter with my control surface (Pro Control, Control|24, HUI, Motor Mix, etc.), the save light doesn't come on and save is grayed out in the file menu. Making the same change with the mouse causes Save to become available.

At the time of this writing, this is a known issue in all versions of Pro Tools (up to version 5.3).
