Q:
My iLOK dongle is not authorizing the plug-ins. When I try to use one of the plug-ins I get a message saying to find the copy protection then an error saying the hardware key cannot be found.
 
A:
- MAKE SURE to install the PACE SYSTEM FILES.EXE first.- Check the device manager. If you don't see the iLOK listed as category DONGLE under ILOK then the device is not installed correctly. - Locate the device named "unknown device" ( this could also be listed as a yellow ! or ?).- Delete the unknown device.- Go to ADD new hardware control panel and search for new devices. The ILOK will be identified and the driver software will be installed. - Restart.
