"DAE memory is low" error when launching Pro Tools LE on a Windows systems
A:
This error can be posted when a Wave Driver is not loaded or that the card is not being seen by DAE. Go to Device Manager, look under Sound Video and Game Controllers. If you see the 001 card there, make sure that it doesn't have an "!" over the icon. In one case, reseating the Digi 001 PCI card solved this issue.
