Q:
After installing Pro Tools LE on WindowsThe program launches, and you can create a session but as soon recording beginsyou get "blue screen" Map buffer globally failed. You can click any key and you are back in Pro Tools but the same will error will occur.
A:
This can be caused by an incompatible Video Card or driver. It can be resolved by replacing the Video Card and driver. In some cases replacing the 3rd party Video driver with a standard display driver may solve the issue without replacing the Video Card.
