When using a MOTU MIDI interface with OMS, my system freezes when I attempt to Disable Serial DMA or select the MidiExpress XT icon in OMS setup.

In one case, updating/installing FreeMidi v1.4.7 solved the problem (Mac OS 9.2.2).NOTE:-Always install FreeMidi AFTER installing OMS. Otherwise the appropriate files will not be available to OMS.
