I've formated with FDISK but Windows 98 SE refuses to install. I get the following error message:"Application Error W98SETUP caused a general protection fault in module SYSTEM.DRV at 0001:0280"

In one case, this error was caused by a malfunctioning drive. Replacing the drive solved the issue.
