In Pro Tools LE for Windows, the MIDI Channel Selector (aka output of the MIDI track) is set to "none". There are no other choices available other than "none" for the output of the MIDI track.

This requires a removal and reinstallation of the Wavedriver. Once the Wavedriver is reinstalled, there will be choices in the Channel Selector box for the Digi 001.How to remove the Wavedriver for the Digi 001:- Right-click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers - Select Digidesign Digi 001. - Click the "Remove" button. - Close System Properties window.For Windows 98SE- Double-click on My Computer > C:Drive > Windows - Click on the View Menu- Select Folder Options- Click on View Tab- Under "Hidden Files", select "Show all Files". - Click "Apply" and "OK". - Go back to C:Drive > Windows > (Click "Show Files", if necessary) > INF folder > Other folder - Right-click on the Digidesigndalwdm file and delete it.- Empty the recycle bin and then restart. - When you restart, the Add New Hardware Wizard will appear and reinstall the Wavedriver 98 from the Pro Tools LE CD. - Follow the Getting Started Guide on page 19 for instructions to install the Wavedriver. For Windows ME -- Double-click on My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Windows - Click on the Tool Menu > select Folder Options- Click on View Tab- Under "Hidden Files", select "Show Hidden Files and Folders". - Click "Apply" and "OK". - Go back to Local Disk (C:) > Windows > (Click "View Entire Contents of Folder", if necessary) > INF folder > Other folder- right-click on the Digidesigndalwdm file and delete it.- Empty the recycle bin and then restart. - When you restart, the Add New Hardware Wizard will appear and reinstall the Wavedriver 98 from the Pro Tools LE CD. - Follow the Getting Started Guide on page 19 for instructions to install the Wavedriver.
