Q:
To select a "Default device" for Windows audio playback in Windows XP. Troubleshooting for -6010 or -6002 errors.
A:
Start menu > Control Panel > Sound and audio devices > Audio Tab > select the Sound Blaster card to avoid -6010 or -6002 errors in Pro Tools. Also, disable the Digidesign WaveDriver. Or select Digidesign Digi 001: Chan 1 - 2 for Windows sounds (or other applications) to play out of the Digidesign Hardware.
